THE ROLE
We are looking for an AI / ML Engineer to build useful, reliable AI features for real business workflows. You will work across data preparation, model selection, evaluation, integration and deployment, taking prototypes into maintainable software. The focus is applied engineering: choosing an approach that works, measuring its quality and making it dependable for customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build AI features for document understanding, information extraction, enterprise search and workflow assistance.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using document processing, embeddings, retrieval and reranking.
• Integrate hosted and open-source language models with our platform through tested Python services and APIs.
• Build and evaluate machine learning models for business use cases where they offer a measurable benefit.
• Prepare evaluation datasets, establish baselines and measure accuracy, grounding, latency, cost and failure modes.
• Improve prompts, retrieval and model choices; fine-tune models when justified by evidence.
• Deploy and monitor inference services in cloud and customer environments, working with infrastructure engineers on GPU and container requirements.
• Apply data protection, access controls, safe handling of untrusted inputs and appropriate human review.
• Document experiments, model versions and limitations, and collaborate with data and software engineers to ship reliable features.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT AND BENEFITS

• You must be physically based in Taiwan. East District, Tainan is the primary work location, with a flexible hybrid arrangement.
• Availability for in-person collaboration and occasional customer visits within Taiwan.
