About the Role
As an AI/ML Engineer at Sobah Systems, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions to solve complex business challenges, particularly in the US healthcare domain. You will work on advanced AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI (GenAI), and traditional ML models, ensuring scalable and efficient implementations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for real-world applications.
- Conduct research and experimentation to enhance AI models, focusing on LLMs, GenAI, and RAG systems.
- Implement prompt engineering strategies to optimize LLM performance for specific use cases.
- Work on data processing pipelines, including data integration, cleansing, & transformation using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business workflows.
- Optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Generative AI (GenAI).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including model deployment and MLOps practices.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of optimization techniques for AI/ML models.
- Exposure to healthcare data and compliance (HIPAA, PHI) is a plus.
