AI/ML Engineer

About the role

Our client is looking for machine learning engineers who are passionate about building scalable production machine learning applications. You will have great opportunities to work on a broad range of business/technical problems and technologies, build machine learning models, and design/automate/deploy production machine learning pipelines. What you'll do

• This is an individual contributor role with significant impact both within the machine learning team and on the product team(s) you will collaborate with

• You will be responsible for technical roadmaps and will collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, Product Engineering, and Design to shape the overall product roadmap

• You will conceive and lead projects while being a hands-on builder of machine learning software components

• You will be a strategic thought partner for leaders across the organization on driving business impact through machine learning

• You will coach and mentor the next generation of strong engineers on the team

What we're seeking

• Deep understanding of data science, linear algebra, algorithms, and statistics.

• In-depth knowledge of computer programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, and C++.

• Willingness to learn and continue developing knowledge in an emergent field.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to collaborate cross-functionally with different teams.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (master’s degree preferred).

• Five years’ experience as an AI engineer or similar role.

• Proactive problem-solving skills with an eagerness to fix inefficiencies

• Natural curiosity and personal drive to find creative solutions to complex problems

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to see the big picture
