AI Native, Business Development Representative- IN TULSA

Note: This role is based in our Tulsa office and requires regular in-office attendance. We're currently focusing our search on candidates who already live in the Tulsa area.

Under direction from the BDR Sales Manager, the Business Development Representative owns the top of the funnel for Aspect.

Aspect is an ecosystem, not a single product, and this role sells the whole of it. There is no separate reputation seat and marketplace seat — one team, one motion. What that means day to day is that the BDR does enough research on each brand to understand where it's losing ground, then earns a single meeting with the person who owns that problem.

The work is genuinely AI-shaped in two directions. The pitch is about AI: how a brand shows up when a buyer asks a model instead of a search engine, and what it costs them when a competitor shows up instead. The job is also done with AI: our reps use Claude and our internal tooling to research a category, read a brand's position, and build a point of view in minutes rather than hours.

Top of funnel earns the meeting. The deeper value-building happens with an Account Executive once there's interest.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, uses judgment over scripts, and genuinely connects with people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Research and prioritize. Work prospects against our ICP and scoring rubric — company size and revenue, vertical, current standing on ConsumerAffairs, who owns page one of their branded search, and whether they or a competitor appears in AI answers. Score honestly and disqualify honestly rather than padding the list.
  • Build a point of view before you reach out. Use AI tooling to get up to speed on a category and a brand fast enough that your first touch says something only someone who looked would say.
  • Run multi-channel outbound. LinkedIn and email interleaved, short and personal rather than templated, with disciplined follow-up.
  • Diagnose on the intro call. Identify what the brand is actually losing and where Aspect fits, rather than presenting a menu.
  • Hand off cleanly. Book meetings for Account Executives with context on the buyer and the diagnosed problem, so the AE walks in prepared
  • Keep the system clean. Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline, produce reporting from disposition data, and keep enrichment and sequencing tooling current.
  • Protect the list. Enforce suppression discipline on every batch — do-not-email and existing- client checks run at list cut and again before send.
  • Close the loop. Feed outcomes back to sales and marketing leadership: which angles, verticals, and titles convert, and which don't.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications & Credentials
    • A minimum of 2 years in sales or client services experience in a high paced, technical environment
    • Demonstrated experience effectively managing a high volume customer pipeline
    • Experience and comfortability around cold emailing, cold calling and LinkedIn Outreach
  • Hard/Technical Skills
    • Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and sales enablement software
    • Experience using B2B sales enablement tools such as SalesForce, Hubspot, Outreach, Gong etc is a plus
    • General knowledge of SEO and search engines
