Responsibilities:

Observability Engineering:

•Architect, deploy, and optimize Splunk ITSI dashboards, KPIs, glass tables, and service maps.

•Continuously enhance visibility into the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.

• Proactive Monitoring & Investigation:

•Leverage observability data to investigate system issues and anomalies in real-time.

•Identify root causes using advanced event correlation, log analysis, and telemetry patterns.

• Predictive Analytics & ML Integration:

•Apply machine learning models to detect anomalies, forecast system behavior, and prevent outages.

•Collaborate with data teams to operationalize predictive analytics for IT incident management.

• Service Mapping with ServiceNow:

•Maintain and automate the synchronization of Configuration Items (CIs) from ServiceNow to Splunk.

•Ensure accurate service correlation and dependency mapping across platforms.

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.

  • Hands-on experience with Splunk ITSI or similar observability platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, including CMDB and CI relationships.

  • Familiarity with machine learning for anomaly detection and predictive analytics.

  • Proficient in scripting (Python, linux) for automation.

  • Understanding of ITIL and modern IT operations practices.

  • Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and investigation skills using observability data.
