AI Platform Engineer - AWS Platform

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned AI Platform Engineer to join our high-impact engineering team in Bangalore for a 12-month extendable contract.

In this role, you will be the architect behind our scalable AI infrastructure, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and production-grade deployments.

You will work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and cross-functional product stakeholders to build robust pipelines that power our next-generation AI services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain scalable AI/ML platforms on AWS to ensure high availability and performance for production-grade machine learning models.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform to create reproducible, secure, and compliant environments for data science teams.

- Integrate Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock into existing workflows to accelerate the lifecycle of LLMs and custom predictive models.

- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines that enable seamless code integration, automated testing, and rapid deployment of AI services.

- Collaborate with engineering leadership to optimize cloud resource utilization, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising system latency or throughput.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing enterprise-grade AI platforms on AWS, with a deep understanding of cloud-native architecture.

- Proficient in Python for developing automation scripts, custom tooling, and integrating complex ML workflows.

- Proven ability to manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring consistency across development, staging, and production environments.

- Hands-on experience deploying and scaling models using Amazon SageMaker and leveraging Amazon Bedrock for generative AI applications.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable engineering tasks for diverse stakeholders.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments requiring high levels of autonomy.

- A minimum of 7 - 14 years of relevant industry experience, ideally backed by a degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Bangalore, maintaining high standards of documentation and collaborative excellence.
