AI Platform Engineer: Scale LLM Infra in Hybrid Role

TeamSystem S.p.A. is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to strengthen our Data, AI & Analytics team in Milan or Padova.

You will build core AI platform services such as LLM gateways, MCP infrastructure, and agent lifecycle management to enable scalable AI-powered products. The role requires 4–5 years in platform/cloud/backend engineering, strong Python (FastAPI), and experience with containers, IaC, and cloud ecosystems.

Develop core services of the AI Platform, including LLM gateways and MCP infrastructure. Design platform capabilities to help product teams deploy AI-powered applications at scale. Collaborate with AI Engineers, Product Teams and Business Units to enable AI-powered products. Contribute to architectural decisions and future platform direction. 4–5 years of experience in platform, cloud, or backend engineering. Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud infrastructures, containers, and Infrastructure as Code. Familiarity with Python backend development (FastAPI). Interest in AI technologies and building platforms enabling AI at scale. Good understanding of software architecture and scalable system design. Proficiency in English (B2 level).
