AI Platform Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) / AI Platform Field Application Developer(Canada)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) / Field Application Developer to support enterprise customers in deploying and optimizing AI, data analytics, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise solution deployment, data platforms, AI applications, and customer-facing technical engagements including PoCs, demos, and production deployments.
This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across global engineering, product, sales, and partner teams to deliver successful enterprise AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and deployment assistance for enterprise customers implementing Business Intelligence (BI), Data Analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, design deployment architectures, and ensure successful solution adoption.
• Lead and support Proof-of-Concept (PoC), technical demos, pilot projects, and production deployments for enterprise customers.
• Assist customers with deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system integration.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, Product Managers, Engineering teams (HQ), and partners (SI) to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.
• Develop technical documentation, deployment guides, best practices, and knowledge management (KM) materials.
• Support AI application deployments involving Knowledge Management (KM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and enterprise AI workflows.
• Provide feedback from customer deployments to improve products, features, and deployment methodologies.
• Participate in global customer engagements, partner enablement, and technical training activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Field Application Engineer, Field Deployment Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience deploying Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, data platforms, or enterprise analytics applications.
• Experience working with Data Analytics, data pipelines, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise data platforms.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise customers and managing technical relationships with customers and partners.
• Experience supporting customer PoC, demo environments, pilot deployments, and technical validation projects.
• Practical knowledge of Knowledge Management (KM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and enterprise AI applications.
• Understanding of modern AI technologies, including:
• Large Language Models (LLM)
• Agentic AI / AI Agents
• Generative AI application architecture
• AI inference and deployment workflows

Familiarity with cloud-native and infrastructure technologies, including:

• Kubernetes (K8S)
• Containerized applications
• AI/ML workload deployment
• Cluster architecture and resource management
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across software, infrastructure, and system integration environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
