Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise AI product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog.
- Identify AI use cases capable of delivering measurable operational or commercial value.
- Rank proposed initiatives according to expected return, business impact, complexity, strategic relevance, and risk.
- Develop business cases, value-realisation frameworks, KPIs, and success measures.
- Translate requirements from underwriting, claims, customer service, finance, operations, and distribution into viable AI products.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and data scientists to define AI workflows and decision processes.
- Design multi-agent orchestration models for complex insurance activities.
- Establish requirements for prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation, human-in-the-loop controls, and explainability.
- Provide technical direction on large language models, generative AI architecture, agentic AI, vector databases, APIs, data models, and cloud architecture.
- Guide the use of LangGraph, Transformer architectures, Model Context Protocol, and related AI orchestration components.
- Select and manage AI vendors while monitoring delivery, technical alignment, risk, and commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with responsible AI principles, model governance, data privacy requirements, and applicable insurance regulations.
- Establish controls for model monitoring, drift detection, prompt governance, auditability, and human review.
- Drive business adoption through stakeholder engagement, training, and operational enablement.
- Measure realised benefits and improve products using performance data and user feedback.
Ideal Profile
Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. A master 's degree is preferred. The position requires 8-12 years of experience in product management, digital transformation, technology delivery, or AI solutions, including at least five years within the Insurance industry. Applicants must demonstrate successful delivery of enterprise AI solutions from initial concept through implementation and adoption. The ideal candidate can discuss insurance processes confidently with underwriters and claims managers while engaging technical teams on APIs, large language models, agent orchestration, retrieval augmented generation, cloud architecture, and data governance. Strong commercial judgement, stakeholder influence, and the ability to convert complex technologies into practical business products are essential.
