AI Product Lead - POC to Production

The role

An enterprise client in a regulated industry is running an AI programme within its finance function. A number of proofs of concept have been built and are showing real success. What they need now is someone to lead the programme through the hardest part: taking those POCs from promising experiments to productionised, adopted, enterprise-grade AI systems.

This is the person who owns the journey from "it works in a pilot" to "it runs in production, at scale, and people actually use it." It is a genuinely blended role, part product, part data, part security, part coaching and change, and it needs someone who has done exactly this before, in a regulated enterprise environment.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the AI programme end to end, taking multiple finance-function POCs through to productionised, enterprise-scale systems
• Owning the path from proof of concept to production: what it takes to industrialise, secure, govern and scale AI systems in a regulated setting
• Working out how to drive adoption, coaching and supporting stakeholders to actually use the systems, and understanding how they change day-to-day workflow and process
• Bringing a product lens: prioritisation, roadmap, and turning working experiments into sustainable, valuable capabilities
• Keeping security, control and regulatory requirements built in from the start, not bolted on later
• Partnering with data, technology and business stakeholders to deliver systems that land and stick

What we're looking for

The essential requirement: proven experience taking AI (or comparable) systems from POC to production in enterprise environments within regulated industries. This is non-negotiable. We need someone who has genuinely done the productionisation journey, not run pilots that stalled, and knows what breaks between a successful POC and a live enterprise system.

Alongside that, you will bring a blend of:

• Product, prioritisation, roadmap, and a focus on adoption and value, not just delivery
• Data, comfort with modern data platforms and how they underpin production AI (the stack here includes Snowflake, Claude and others)
• Security and governance, building AI systems that meet the control and regulatory bar of a regulated industry
• Coaching and change, the ability to bring stakeholders with you, drive adoption, and reshape workflow and process around new capabilities

Finance transformation experience would be a real advantage given the programme sits in the finance function.
