AI Project & Solution Manager (m/f/d) 80-100%

Responsibilities

WinGD is establishing an AI Project & Solution Manager to coordinate its company-wide AI roadmap and portfolio while contributing hands-on to selected AI solutions and internal software tools. The role translates business priorities into a transparent, prioritised AI portfolio and coordinates selected initiatives from assessment through implementation and benefits tracking. It combines cross-functional coordination with hands-on design, prototyping and development in collaboration with the AI Technical Lead, AI experts, business functions, IT and relevant control functions.

• Coordinate the company-wide AI roadmap, prioritised portfolio and management recommendations through a transparent use-case assessment process.
• Coordinate selected AI initiatives from assessment and proof of value through implementation, adoption and benefits tracking.
• Design, prototype, develop, test and implement selected AI solutions and internal software tools.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions with the AI Technical Lead, AI experts and business representatives.
• Coordinate internal experts and external partners, ensuring clear ownership, scope, resources, milestones, dependencies and decisions.
• Coordinate the AI Core Team, AI Ambassador network, awareness, training, communication and knowledge sharing across WinGD.
• Ensure alignment with applicable technical and governance requirements and report progress, value, costs, risks, capacity constraints and required decisions to management.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in AI project or portfolio management, digital transformation, data, analytics or technology innovation.
• Proven ability to combine AI project and portfolio coordination with hands-on software development.
• Hands-on programming experience developing, integrating and implementing AI-based solutions, prototypes and internal software tools.
• Practical understanding of generative AI and machine learning, including data, security, privacy and implementation considerations.
• Experience translating business needs into measurable use cases and coordinating cross-functional initiatives through implementation and adoption.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to lead without direct line authority.
• Pragmatic, structured and delivery-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English and German
• Industrial or engineering experience are advantages.
