AI Research Engineer - aiDrive
- Research, develop, implement, and test artificial intelligence algorithms to improve the quality and robustness of the static world model in automated vehicles
- Focus on road structure including lanes, curbs, and drivable trajectories
- Focus on traffic sign and traffic light detection including 3D position and class
- Produce maps of the static world based on detections
- Participate in designing the training and evaluation framework pipeline
- Propose architecture changes
- Perform code reviews
- Integrate prototype models into real-time self-driving systems
- BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineer role
- Strong Python programming and software design skills
- Strong mathematical skills including linear algebra and probability distributions
- Experience in deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow
- Experience in computer vision
- Experience in software development including git, code reviews, and unit tests
- Ability to work independently and systematically
- Programming in C++
- Working in Linux
- Experience in machine learning and data analysis
- Experience in Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes
- Experience in robotics
- Experience in developing safety critical, embedded, or real-time systems
- Experience in computer graphics, physics simulation or other mathematics-intensive applications
