AI Research Intern

Summary

Research and implement AI-native chip design tools and agent-driven workflows, collaborating with founders on methodology and algorithms.

We’re hiring software interns with significant experience with AI research (across models, algorithms, and training methodology) to help push the frontier of our AI-native tools and agent-driven workflows for chip design.

This is an in-person role at our Mountain View office, and can be either part-time or full-time effective immediately.

This may transition into a full-time role.

What you’ll do:

  • Architect, implement, and benchmark methodology across models, algorithms, and training frontiers for AI-native chip design
  • Collaborate directly with the founders on key research direction and design decisions

Minimum requirements:

  • Available for 15-40 hours/week in-person in Mountain View, CA
  • Good at writing/shipping high-quality code (Python/C++) quickly
  • Experience with applied AI and AI research
  • Adaptive, data-driven, and works from first principles
