Responsibilities
- Develop AI models by applying machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods to large-scale datasets
- Analyze complex datasets including text, images, audio, or structured data to identify patterns and build predictive systems
- Apply mathematical foundations such as linear algebra, probability, and optimization to design and enhance AI models
- Implement and train AI/ML models using programming languages like Python, C++, or similar
- Conduct research and experiments to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and generalization
- Design and evaluate algorithms including neural networks, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing models
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to deploy AI models into production systems
- Utilize Linux environments and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GPU clusters) to support training and development workflows
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python (primary), C++, or Java
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, statistics, and optimization principles
- Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- Exposure to AI research or projects through academic work, internships, or industry experience
- Strong mathematical background including linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields preferred; strong Bachelor’s degree also considered
