AI Researcher / Engineer
ABRIAL is California-based startup, with a meaningful European footprint. We are building the commercial operating system for airlines, starting with the core of the engine: price optimization (yield management).
Team: 10 people, all top-notch, with a sharp mix of business, domain expertise, and AI research & engineering. Deep market access, incredibly differentiated and high-performance product, proven to deliver meaningful financial impact.
Traction: Live with a large airline, just signed a second one, a few more in contracting, and a deep pipeline beyond that.
Funding: runway through Q1 2028. Closed our first institutional round, led by several excellent silicon valley VCs, with strong line of sight into a series A raise in the coming months in case needed.
Candidate Profile: We are looking to add to our AI Engineering team.
2 to 8 years of experience (incl. hands-on post-docs & PhD); flexible for the right person.
Strong foundation in Deep Learning and / or Reinforcement Learning, ideally applied to optimization problems in operations research.
Comfortable building, shipping, and iterating fast on models brought to production (Data Engineering is already covered).
Thrives in small teams with direct ownership and impact. Excited to grow business and responsibilities at breakneck speed.
Extreme intellectual curiosity and passion for execution.
Compensation: equity stake well above market, market-rate cash comp (freelance admin. status for the first year, converted to a classical employee status once the entity is set up).
Location: remote, preferably based in Europe.
Start: July-September
