AI Security Architect: Safeguarding AI/ML at Scale

Deel is seeking an AI Security Engineer to secure Deel’s AI-enabled systems and ML infrastructure. You will shape security standards across engineering, product, IT, and security to enable safe AI tooling while preserving compliance.

You’ll assess AI threats, deploy AISPM and AIDR solutions, and guide secure development and DevSecOps practices in a fast-scaling, globally distributed SaaS environment. Responsibilities include leading threat modeling for AI/ML models, evaluating AISPM/AIDR

Define and maintain the AI security strategy across infrastructure and product ecosystem. Lead threat modeling and security assessments for AI/ML models, LLM integrations, and agentic AI systems. Evaluate and deploy AISPM and AIDR solutions. Secure deployments with authentication, data flow controls, and supply chain risk assessments. Own security reviews and enablement for internal AI tool adoption and guardrails. Develop and enforce policies for safe AI tool usage across the organization. Support CI/CD hardening, dependency scanning and security reviews in internal development. Plan AI-focused penetration testing including prompt injection and adversarial simulations. Review AI-related connectors, plugins, and third-party integrations. Collaborate with SOC and IR teams to build AI-specific detection rules and playbooks. Translate AI threat landscape risks into actionable controls and policies. Experience in AI security and securing AI/ML workflows. Ability to lead threat modeling and security assessments for AI/ML models and integrations. Proficiency in CI/CD security, dependency scanning and software supply chain security. Familiarity with data loss prevention and data protection in AI contexts.
