AI Security Engineer
Salary: 100-130k THB
Role Summary- We are seeking an experienced AI Security Engineer to strengthen the security posture of our client's AI systems, cloud platforms, and regulated technology environments. In this role, you will design, implement, and continuously improve security controls across multi-cloud AI infrastructure, containerised platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and identity systems. You will play a key part in protecting against emerging AI-specific threats (including prompt injection attacks) while ensuring that AI-enabled solutions meet stringent data protection, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement security architecture for AI workloads and AI infrastructure across multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure), including services such as Amazon Bedrock.
- Secure Kubernetes clusters, container platforms, and related orchestration layers used to run AI and data services.
- Identify, mitigate, and defend against AI-specific threats, including prompt injection attacks (direct, indirect, and agent-card/metadata-based injection).
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines, including automated scanning, policy-as-code, and secure software supply-chain practices.
- Own and continuously improve Identity and Access Management (IAM) for cloud, AI platforms, and internal systems, applying least-privilege and zero-trust principles.
- Establish and maintain security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities tailored to AI and cloud-native environments.
- Implement and oversee data protection and privacy controls for training data, inference data, and model artefacts.
- Ensure AI systems and supporting infrastructure comply with relevant regulatory and industry requirements.
- Collaborate closely with European-based teams, requiring the ability to overlap working hours with European time zones.
- Work with platform, data, AI/ML, and compliance teams to identify risks, define security requirements, and drive remediation.
- Contribute to security standards, guidelines, and best practices for the secure development and operation of AI systems and agents.
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies related to AI, cloud, and container environments, and apply them proactively.
- Several years of hands-on experience in AI security, cloud security, or a closely related security engineering role.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a comparable qualification (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong practical experience with AI and cloud security across multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure), including Amazon Bedrock or equivalent generative AI platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in securing AI infrastructure, including model serving, data pipelines, and related components.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and container security (runtime protection, network policies, image security, etc.).
- Practical understanding of prompt injection attacks and related AI threats (including agent-card/metadata injection techniques), and experience implementing mitigations.
- Proven experience implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including cloud IAM, federated identity, and privileged access management.
- Experience with security monitoring, logging, detection engineering, and incident response in cloud-native environments.
- Knowledge of data protection, privacy controls, and encryption practices relevant to AI systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to technology and data-intensive environments.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, including regular collaboration with European colleagues and willingness to overlap with European time zones.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, risk-based approach to security.
