n the role of AI Software Developer, we'll count on you to\:
- Design, develop, and deploy innovative AI and emerging technology solutions, including generative AI, agentic AI systems, computer vision, and advanced analytics
- Evaluate new technologies, conduct proof-of-concept initiatives, and partner with business stakeholders to scale successful solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and client service delivery across HDR.
- Design, prototype, and develop AI-enabled tools that improve data processing, predictive analytics, decision support, and workflow automation.
- Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and application integrations that support AI-driven features and internal platforms.
- Collaborate with business, technology, data, DevOps, and machine learning teams to define requirements and translate use cases into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct research and development to test AI concepts, validate business value, and recommend approaches for pilot implementation.
- Evaluate, refine, and monitor AI models and algorithms to ensure accuracy, reliability, usability, and alignment with business needs.
- Support pilot teams by documenting technical approaches, gathering feedback, and iterating on solution design.
- Stay current with emerging AI, machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies relevant to the AEC industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, or a related field.
- Expert level experience with AI and machine learning experience
- Proficiency with data engineering tools and languages such as SQL, Power Query, and Pandas.
- Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
- Proven track record of learning, evaluating, and applying emerging technologies.
