On-site in Braga, Portugal.
DISPLAX is strengthening its commitment to Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for a developer to design and build AI solutions for the business, from intelligent process automation to LLM-based assistants, integrated with our internal applications and the Zoho ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI solutions for business processes: assistants and chatbots, intelligent automation, and data analysis and processing with LLMs
- Integrate language model APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI or similar) into internal applications and workflows
- Develop and maintain the PHP (Laravel) web applications that support these solutions
- Build integrations through REST APIs, with a focus on the Zoho ecosystem (CRM, Books, SalesIQ, Creator/Deluge)
- Design and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), including data structures for AI features
- Document solutions and work closely with the internal team
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and APIs: LLMs, prompt engineering and agent-based automation
- Solid PHP experience (Laravel is a plus)
- Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with REST APIs (OAuth, webhooks, JSON)
- Autonomy, critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases or fine-tuning
- Knowledge of the Zoho ecosystem (Deluge, extensions, widgets, Zia)
- AI-assisted development (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar)
- Git, Docker and Linux environments
- Fluent technical English
