Co-founder-level AI software engineer to build Talora, an AI 'chief of staff' platform for home health agencies — deploying it first inside the founder's own home health/hospice company before going to market. Owns product and architecture end to end using LLMs, agent frameworks, and browser automation, mostly remote with occasional office time in Salida, CA.
Compensation: $100k – $130k • 5.0% – 15.0%
The Product The product is an AI chief of staff for home health. End-to-end platform that runs the operational backbone of an agency and tells leadership what matters. It is being built inside my currently operating home health and hospice agency (1st customer/training data). I have the ability to utilize 14 years of internal training data as we build from my own company.
It supports clinical decisions driving ROI and helps automate cumbersome workflows all while providing real time insights into the organization.
I'm not technical but have deep operational expertise in the field, I know all of the pain points within the industry and have a detailed roadmap of how this solution will help solve those problems.
Travel Requirement The position would require some travel to my office in Salida, CA. This allows you to work internally in the organization as we build the product, much of the actual build can be done remote, however, there will be a few weeks here and there where you must be open to coming into the office. I don't envision more than 1 week per month. The purpose of this is to understand the business, the industry, derive real time feedback from employees (as we deploy internally and iterate), and also be able to work cohesively as one unit during this process.
What I'm looking for: Looking for a technical co-founder who can build out the AI-native solution, deploy internally at my company, help raise and then go to market. I also have a deep network in the space as we go to the broader market with the solution to get more customers.
I want a founder who wants to own the product and architecture end to end. Ideally you would have shipped real things or started your own company and you're comfortable with LLMs, agent frameworks, browser automation, and messy real-world data. Healthcare experience isn't required.
Pay and Equity I can provide an initial salary of $10k/month plus Founder Equity. Split is determined based on skill set, fit, commitment, upfront salary, and contribution to the overall project. I am self funding the initial build, once we have a proven MVP, will seek outside funding to help grow the team and continue building into more workflows.
