This is position is based in Limassol, Cyprus with an in-office and hybrid set up. Remote set up is not possible.

Role Summary

Join a strategic, company level team redefining the future of software engineering at eToro. We are building a greenfield, AI native infrastructure from the ground up, moving away from legacy systems to create a modern stack that scales AI driven efficiency across the entire organization. This is a cross-functional role focused on empowering engineering groups through reusable platforms, automation, and AI-first developer tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design AI first internal platforms and developer tools from concept to production.
• Scale AI Strategy: Set standards and best practices for AI assisted development across the company.
• Partner & Empower: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into their specific workflows.
• Rapid Delivery: Prototype, validate, and productionize robust solutions with measurable impact.
• Automation Lead: Identify and implement end-to-end automation for engineering and business operations.
• Tech Evolution: Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in software engineering (Backend/Frontend) with a track record of shipping production-grade software.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to turn ambiguous goals into scalable architectures and repeatable workflows.
• AI-Native Mindset: You use AI as your primary accelerator (ideally 80%–100% of your code is AI-assisted) while ensuring security and maintainability.
• AI Tooling: Experience building tools like MCP, Agents, Skills, or internal automation frameworks.
• Operational Excellence: Practical experience with AI evaluation loops, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Full Ownership: Ability to own solutions end-to-end (Design → Deployment → Observability).

Technical Qualifications & Preferences:

• Backend/Frontend: Proficiency in building scalable services or high-quality client architectures.
• Tech Stack (Preferred): C#/.NET Core, TypeScript, React Native.
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure.
• Automation: Experience with platforms like n8n.
• Design: Strong background in high availability and reliability patterns.
