About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled AI Software Engineer to join their fully remote, dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and deploying AI-powered software solutions that integrate machine learning models and algorithms into production systems. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering principles combined with practical experience in applying AI technologies to solve real-world business problems. You will work closely with data scientists and other engineers to bring innovative AI features to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop production-quality code for AI/ML applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Integrate machine learning models into existing software systems and new product features.
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand model requirements and assist in model deployment.
- Build and manage APIs and services for AI models, ensuring seamless integration.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for AI systems in production.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with developing or deploying machine learning models (familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn is a plus).
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
