Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient AI software systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to integrate AI models into production applications.
• Optimize software performance for large-scale data processing and complex AI algorithms.
• Develop and maintain APIs and services for AI model deployment and interaction.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of robust data pipelines.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of AI applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Software Engineer, with a focus on developing AI-powered applications or scalable systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with other languages like Java or C++.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be eligible to work in South Africa and reside in or be willing to relocate to Soweto, Gauteng .
