Our client is building a next-generation AI-powered Product Intelligence Platform for the e-commerce industry. The

vision is to create a structured, AI-native knowledge platform that enables LLMs and AI agents to better understand

products and generate intelligent recommendations. The project is currently in the discovery phase, giving you the

opportunity to shape the product architecture, technical direction, and engineering organization from day one.

The role

We are looking for an experienced AI Solution Architect who combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering

expertise. You will become the first senior technical hire on the project and play a pivotal role in validating the product

vision, designing the architecture, building the initial Proof of Concept, and ultimately leading the creation of the AI

engineering team. This is not a traditional architect position. We are looking for someone who enjoys building,

experimenting, making architectural decisions, and turning ambiguous business ideas into production-ready AI

solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate product vision into a scalable AI platform.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and validate business requirements.
• Design the overall architecture of an AI-native Product Intelligence Platform.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend appropriate architecture decisions.
• Build the first end-to-end Proof of Concept.
• Make key architectural and implementation decisions.
• Develop AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Design data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Define scalable data models for AI consumption.
• Define the future AI engineering team.
• Lead technical decision-making across the project.
• Deliver the designed product.
• Work as both an individual contributor and technical leader.

Requirements:

• Experience designing AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience building AI-powered products rather than only ML models.
• Experience developing AI agents or agentic workflows.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience designing Proofs of Concept and evolving them into production solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with software architecture patterns and system design.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering or Data Science concepts.
• Proven leadership experience or technical team leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High English language skills.

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) & familiarity with containerization and CI/CD practices.
