AI Solutions Architect, Gas Services Asia Pacific

Summary

As an AI Solutions Architect within Gas Services department, you will be part of our Asia Pacific AI team, leading the design and delivery of complex, AI powered platforms across our enterprise environment. You will use your expertise to architect and build tailored solutions that combine artificial intelligence, data engineering and enterprise integration, meeting the needs of our functions and maximizing the return on our investment in AI. We bring innovation and ambition to achieve our performance targets and establish Gas Services as a leader in applied AI.

In this role, you will own the technical architecture and hands on build of intelligent platforms such as resource optimization and outage cost tracking systems. You will work directly with our Gas Services functions to identify use cases, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that integrate AI, databases and existing enterprise systems to drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end solution architecture for AI powered platforms, keeping data models, integration patterns and security consistent and reusable across projects
• Build and deploy full stack applications, including React based user interfaces and automated cost, forecasting and optimization engines
• Own database and data lake design across Azure SQL and Snowflake, including ETL pipelines, data migration, cleaning and integrity
• Architect and integrate solutions with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, using connectors and APIs
• Define and implement the security model, including SSO, multi-tenant and region isolation (RLS) and tiered access for different stakeholder groups
• Apply governance, security, ALM and DevOps best practices to ensure solutions are deployable, auditable and maintainable
• Support Gas Services functions workshops, translating fragmented processes into standardized digital and/or AI workflows
• Produce solution designs, technical documentation and handover materials, and liaise with IT, Security and business sponsors
• Direct and collaborate with specialist developers and data and AI resources to deliver end to end solutions

Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience architecting and building AI powered platforms, combining application development, AI and data engineering
• Strong full stack development skills, including React and modern web frameworks, and platform and coding capability
• Proven AI and optimization experience, such as constraint based optimization, forecasting and machine learning driven planning
• Strong database and data engineering skills across Azure SQL and Snowflake, including ETL, data lake design and data migration
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint using connectors and APIs
• Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure architecture, including Azure services, secure server hosting, SSO and SMTP
• Security architecture experience, including multi-tenant and region isolation (RLS) and tiered access control
• Strong understanding of governance, security and ALM, including DLP policies and environment strategies
• You will likely possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, information system management or a related field
• 5+ years in solutions architecture, AI or full stack development roles
