AI Solution Engineer
Summary
Mitr Phol, a Thai agribusiness conglomerate, is hiring an AI Solution Engineer in Bangkok on a 2-year fixed-term contract. The role adapts off-the-shelf AI models and cloud AI services into working business solutions — building the code, APIs, data flows, and cloud infrastructure around them using Python and Azure/AWS, without training models from scratch.
Position : AI Solution Engineer (Fix Term Contract 2 Years)
About the Role
We are looking for an AI Solution Engineer to join our Data & AI team. You will take ready-made AI models
and technology and turn them into real solutions that our business teams use to hit their goals.
This is a hands-on engineering role — you adapt and build with existing AI, you do not need to be a data
scientist. You should understand how AI models are developed and trained, enough to select, adapt, and
fine-tune them — but you will not be doing intensive model training (that is the data scientist’s job). If you
enjoy connecting AI, software, and cloud into something that works, we would love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Adapt off-the-shelf AI models and cloud AI services into working solutions for our business units.
Build the software around the AI — the code, APIs, and data flows that make it usable.
Join requirement-gathering sessions and clarify needs directly with business users.
Follow the full software development life cycle: design, build, test, deploy, and support.
Set up the basic cloud infrastructure needed to run your solutions.
Test against business goals and improve based on feedback.
What We’re Looking For
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
A good understanding of software development and the ability to write and integrate code (Python
preferred).
Basic to intermediate AI knowledge — you understand how AI models are developed and trained,
enough to apply, adapt, and fine-tune existing models (not intensive model training from scratch — that
is for data scientists).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and databases.
An understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Clear communication — able to talk with business users and explain things simply.
0–4 years of experience. Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals and mid-level candidates are both welcome.
Working English and Thai.
Nice to Have
Azure or AWS certifications.
Experience with cloud AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) or building on LLMs.
Exposure to agentic AI, automation, or RAG solutions.
Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
A portfolio of projects you have shipped end to end.
