AI Solutions Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: AI Solutions Architect (hands-on)
Experience: 15 years or more
Location: Pan India – LTM Location (Offshore)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Shift Timings: Work timings till around 2:30 PM to 12 AM IST for sufficient overlap as requested by customer
Client Interview: Yes, 2 rounds

REQUIREMENTS
Primary Technical Skills:

• 5+ years in software/solutions engineering with 3+ years hands-on AWS architecture and development
  
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building agentic AI workflows, multi-step agents, tool use orchestration (not just prompt engineering or POCs)
  
• Practical experience with AWS Agent Core or willingness/ability to ramp quickly given related experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, Bedrock Agents or similar
  
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS API Gateway, REST/HTTP APIs, authorizers, throttling, request/response transformation
  
• Solid experience with core AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB/RDS, S3, EventBridge, IAM, CloudWatch/X-Ray
  
• Experience integrating LLMs/foundation models (Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production applications
  
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: API design, testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform)
  
• Ability to write production-quality code in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js (preferred)
  
• Comfortable working directly in code – this is an individual contributor build-it-yourself role, not solely a design/review function
  

Secondary Technical Skills (not mandatory):

• Experience in insurance or financial services, especially underwriting/claims automation
  
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise data platforms
  
• Experience with agent observability/evaluation tooling, tracing, eval harnesses, guardrails
  
• AWS certifications: Solutions Architect Professional or AI/ML specialty
  
• Experience mentoring engineers or setting technical standards for a team
  

Soft Skills:

• As this is an onsite role, must have strong written and oral communication skills
  

Key Interview Questions:

• Walk me through an agentic AI solution you have built. How did the agent orchestrate tasks, interact with tools/APIs, manage memory and context, and handle failures?
  
• Suppose you need to expose an AI agent that retrieves customer policy information and performs underwriting analysis. How would you design the AWS architecture using API Gateway, Lambda, Bedrock/LLMs, and supporting services?
  
• How would you prevent excessive LLM costs and protect against unsafe agent actions?
