We’re looking for a Software Engineer to build and improve our learning platform and internal systems. This hands-on role focuses on software development, AI, and automation to solve real-world business needs.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions, automate processes, and take ownership from development through implementation.
What You’ll Own
Technical Leadership & Engineering
Shape system architecture, technical standards, security, and scalability.
Work closely with the CEO to turn business goals into a practical engineering roadmap.
Build and maintain core platform features with hands-on coding.
Own system design, APIs, databases, integrations, and performance.
Maintain high engineering standards through testing, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD.
AI & Automation
Build AI-powered features, agents, and workflows that improve business efficiency and decision-making.
Develop internal automations across sales, admissions, finance, and support.
Integrate AI APIs and automation tools into business and product workflows.
Connect and maintain integrations across LMS, CRM, payment, analytics, and other SaaS platforms.
Team & Collaboration
Mentor engineers and encourage strong engineering practices.
Take ownership of technical projects and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs clearly to the CEO and non-technical teams.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
1–2 years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on production experience.
Strong full-stack or backend development skills.
Solid understanding of system architecture, databases, APIs, integrations, and performance optimisation.
Experience owning features, systems, or technical projects.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Interest and hands-on exposure to AI, automation, or modern AI APIs.
Nice to Have
Ruby on Rails experience.
EdTech or LMS experience.
Experience with CRM, payment, or analytics integrations.
Startup or scale-up experience.
Experience working in a lean, high-ownership engineering team.
