With state-of-the-art European equipment, the company converts 70 tons of cotton per day into a broad range of textile products. Over 15,000 team members operate across a 250-acre site in Faisalabad, Pakistan, complemented by a manufacturing facility in Manchester, UK, and a Europe office in Barcelona, Spain. International design teams based in Pakistan and the UK closely track market trends, techniques, and finishes to deliver innovative, high-quality designs. As we expand our digital and AI capabilities, we are establishing a dedicated technology function in Lahore to drive innovation across our global operations.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lahore, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Reporting to Digital Transformation Lead, the AI Solutions Engineer / AI Implementation Specialist will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions to optimize textile manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, building and integrating AI models or platforms with existing systems, and ensuring robust, secure, and scalable implementations. The role involves working closely with cross-functional stakeholders (operations, IT, production, design, and management) to identify use cases, run pilots, manage proof-of-concept projects, and support rollout across the organization. The specialist will also document solutions, train internal users, monitor system performance, and recommend continuous improvements to maximize value from AI initiatives.

What You’ll Work On

  • Integrating AI into our ERP and manufacturing systems SAP to streamline planning, reporting, and operations.
  • Applying AI tools to enhance textile design workflows in collaboration with our Pakistan and UK design teams Adobe, NedGraphics, EAT and Scotweave.
  • Deploying productivity and automation tools (e.g. Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform) to improve daily business and office workflows.
  • Building solutions for demand forecasting, quality control, supply chain optimization, and production efficiency.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first year, you will have delivered measurable improvements such as reduced manual reporting time, faster and more accurate forecasting, lower production downtime, and successful adoption of AI tools across multiple departments.

Qualifications

  • (4–7) years of experience in software development, AI/ML implementation, or solution engineering.
  • Strong foundation in software development with experience building, testing, and maintaining AI-enabled applications or services.
  • Consulting skills to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate operational challenges into practical AI solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to present solutions, run demos, and clearly justify the value of AI initiatives to internal teams and management.
  • Integration experience connecting AI tools, APIs, and platforms with ERP, MES, or other enterprise systems in a secure and scalable manner.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks or platforms (e.g. Python-based ML libraries, cloud AI services such as Azure/AWS AI, or low-code AI tools) is highly beneficial.
  • Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial processes; exposure to textiles or similar industries is a plus.
  • Experience handling sensitive business data with appropriate attention to security and confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams across Pakistan, the UK, and Europe.
