AI Specialist
- Design and implement enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions to support the organisation's AI-enabled Internal Audit strategy.
- Develop AI-powered capabilities across the audit lifecycle, including dynamic risk assessment, audit planning, fieldwork, quality assurance, and reporting.
- Design intelligent AI agent workflows and enterprise automation solutions using Generative AI technologies.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimise AI model performance and business outcomes.
- Develop and integrate machine learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions into enterprise audit processes.
- Collaborate with business, audit, risk, governance, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Design and implement secure AI solutions within Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, and the broader enterprise data ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain robust data engineering pipelines to support AI models and analytics initiatives.
- Perform data quality assessments and implement processes that improve data integrity and AI model performance.
- Develop analytics, dashboards, and risk scoring models to support audit decision-making and executive reporting.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms and APIs while ensuring secure software delivery practices.
- Support AI governance by implementing Responsible AI principles, model risk management, privacy controls, and information security standards.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), solution validation, and production readiness activities.
- Produce high-quality solution designs, technical documentation, testing artefacts, operational handover documentation, and training material.
- Support stakeholder enablement, knowledge transfer, and business adoption of AI capabilities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI delivery standards, governance frameworks, and enterprise best practices.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering analytics or AI solutions, with at least 2 years' hands-on experience implementing Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Agentic AI solutions.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise AI solutions within a regulated financial services or banking environment.
- Proven experience with AI solution architecture, machine learning, data engineering, and enterprise AI implementation.
- Experience designing AI-powered workflows, intelligent automation solutions, and enterprise-scale analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, model risk management, privacy, and information security controls.
- Experience supporting AI testing, business adoption, and governance throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Knowledge of internal audit, risk management, assurance processes, or control testing is highly advantageous.
- Experience facilitating business requirements, coordinating UAT, and managing stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business, data, technology, audit, and governance teams.
