AI System Engineer (Location: Cyberport)
The Role:
AI System Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of live, business-critical software systems and IT infrastructure.
Unlike development teams focused on building new features, this position focuses on real-time incident resolution, bug fixing, service availability, operational health, and continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for our critical production systems and middleware
Monitor application health proactively using monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix) or other means to maximize the systems’ availability
Perform regular production hygiene tasks like data cleanup, queue clearing & certificate renewals
Execute production deployments, release verification, database patch scripts, and system maintenance tasks during off-peak windows
Review Change Requests (CRs) to ensure operational readiness, rollback strategies, and risk mitigations are in place prior to production release
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or High Diphoma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
2–5 years of experience in L1/L2 application support, production engineering, or IT systems operations
Technical Skill:
Proficient in Linux commands and basic Windows Server administration
Strong knowledge on the below middleware software:
Vm software like VmWare
Storage like Dell PowerScale & DDN
Backup software like Veeam and Data Domain
SIEM like Splunk
Cloud Infrastructure like Sangfor
Practical understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management).
