AI Trainer & Learning Experience Designer
This is a remote position.
AI Trainer & Learning Experience Designer
Remote | Philippines | Full-Time Php 100,000 - 150,000/month, negotiable | AU/PH Business Hours | Long-Term Remote Role
There are plenty of training jobs out there. Most of them are, frankly, dull. This one is not.
We're a fast-growing offshore talent business, and every professional we place is expected to be AI-enabled and AI-first from day one — a genuine asset to their client, not just another set of hands. You are the reason that promise holds up. Before a new hire ever meets their client, you will have already taken them from a standing start to a confident, capable AI operator, through an intensive program you design, deliver and continuously sharpen.
This is a dynamic role at the leading edge of a genuine shift in how offshore talent works. You will be instrumental in teaching and mentoring new hires AI fundamentals to advanced AI applications that will help them automate and make their day-to-day tasks more efficient, and create more value to their role and the business. It is not just "teaching with AI or using AI to build your training materials", the core of this role is to train people to use AI competently.
You’ll be working directly with Remote Workmate’s leadership who:
Champions Innovation: Operates at the front of the AI shift, empowering you to evolve and refresh training designs quarterly.
Values Your Growth: Keeps your AI currency as a living habit, offering direct exposure across the business working with the CEO, Operations Manager, and CSMs.
Respects Your Expertise: Gives you high autonomy over curriculum design, assessments, and standards-holding without micromanaging your delivery.
Builds Stability & Mission: Directly protects workmates and their families by equipping them with the AI skills needed to thrive in long-term offshore careers.
You’ll get career transformation, high-level business visibility, and the authority to lead AI upskilling — without being stuck in a BPO corporate-training rut.
What You’ll Be Owning
This is a core L&D and AI enablement leadership role covering curriculum creation, live cohort delivery, standards enforcement, and internal team upskilling. You aren't just tracking attendance; you are designing practical checkpoints and building behavioral fluency across modern AI platforms.
You’ll take the lead on:
Design and run an intensive, structured program that takes every new starter to AI-ready before their client start date — including people who have never touched an AI tool before.
Teach transferable, platform-agnostic skills: working with AI assistants, prompting well, and building and using skills, connectors, plugins, knowledge bases and projects.
Curate the best existing material rather than building everything from scratch, and design real assessments and practical projects that test understanding, not just attendance.
Spot when someone hasn't grasped a concept, and re-teach it differently until it lands.
Hold the line on standards — flag or exit trainees who won't reach the bar, early, rather than letting under prepared people through.
Run structured check-ins through a new starter's first one to two weeks in their live role, reinforcing training in real work.
Upskill the wider internal team, running workshops and hands-on sessions that build genuine confidence, not just awareness.
Keep the program current — revise and refresh training design at least quarterly as tools and best practice evolve, and partner with the CEO to spot new opportunities to expand training company-wide.
Requirements
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
A proven AI Enabler or Specialist, educator, trainer or coach who can point to real examples of taking someone from zero to confident and capable.
Daily, hands-on fluency across mainstream AI tools — able to teach prompting, skills, connectors, plugins, knowledge bases and projects with genuine authority.
Instructional design ability — can build a curriculum, assessments and exercises that actually change behavior.
Strong emotional intelligence as a teacher — reads when someone is overwhelmed and adjusts before they disengage.
Comfortable holding people accountable, including delivering a hard message when someone isn't going to make it.
Able to train multiple people at pace, week after week, without quality slipping.
Genuinely curious and self-directed — keeps their own AI skills current without being asked.
Highly regarded: experience training or coaching Filipino or offshore teams; a background in L&D, onboarding design or facilitation; and fluency across more than one AI platform.
What Success Looks Like After 60–90 Days:
Has run at least one full training cohort start to finish, with real assessments and checkpoints in place — not just planned.
Has delivered the first upskilling session to the internal team, and made at least one standards-holding call where warranted.
Has shipped at least one documented update to the program in response to a genuine change in the AI landscape.
Is running the training pipeline independently, with early signs that new starters are arriving genuinely AI-ready.
Final Word
If you’ve ever thought: "I am an elite trainer and curriculum designer who understands modern AI depth—I just want an organization that values real standards and empowers me to build cutting-edge programs," this is that role.
Let’s build long-term success — together.
