AI Waifu Senior Golang Backend Engineer
We’re building our flagship product, darlin™—an AI companion experience that is real-time, expressive, and emotionally engaging.

As a Senior Go Backend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the cloud backend systems that power the entire experience. From API design to concurrency and performance optimization, every line of code directly impacts how users interact with darlin™ and how successfully we scale the product.

Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain darlin™’s core cloud services in Go, including APIs, real-time interactions, personalization, and real-time data processing.

2. Design and integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket/Socket connections, ensuring stable, low-latency communication between the frontend and AI models.

3. Take ownership of production operations, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and incident response. Own the services you deploy and continuously improve system reliability.

4. Work closely with the AI team to operate our proprietary AI model infrastructure, including deployment and monitoring of model inference services and GPU resource management.

5. Optimize databases, caching, and message processing systems to support high concurrency and prepare the platform for continued user growth.

6. Collaborate across AI, frontend, and design teams to develop solutions, make technical decisions, and produce clear technical documentation.

7. Maintain and refactor existing backend systems, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and making the AI companion experience better.
