Air Import Customer Service Executive [SL]

Coordinate and manage airfreight import operations from shipment arrival through customs clearance, final delivery, billing and closure.

Handle customer enquiries, provide shipment status updates and ensure service requirements are met.

Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, transport providers, customs authorities and internal teams on shipment arrangements.

Check import documents for accuracy and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

Track shipment progress, monitor KPIs and resolve operational discrepancies promptly.

Manage shipment delays, clearance issues and delivery exceptions, escalating matters when necessary.

Maintain complete shipment records, reports and billing documentation.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline import processes and enhance customer experience.

Provide guidance to junior team members and support daily operational activities.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
