AIR OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) Exercise Planner applying Air Force military rated experience to plan, organize and determine necessary policies, regulations, directives, programs, doctrine, and procedures for the execution of major command and CJCS exercises in support of an Air Mobility Division (AMD).
Directs AMD exercise planning and scheduling of airlift support for JCS/USPACOM/PACAF directed exercises. Applies Air Force military experience to develop and evaluate detailed exercise plans, budgets, goals, and objectives for exercise execution. Communicates with/acts as an interlace with other agencies regarding exercise planning. Prepares and delivers oral presentation such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned exercises and projects.
