Put your mechanical, engineering or technical education into practice in a hands-on aerospace environment working with critical aircraft components.

As an MRO Technician (Tester), you will develop specialized technical knowledge by working directly with APU and aircraft Engine Core, performs hands-on maintenance, inspection, assembly, and testing of aerospace components and APU systems based on strict technical manuals.

Through structured on-the-job training, you will gain practical experience in how aerospace components operate, how faults are identified, and how mechanical and electromechanical components are repaired, overhauled and tested.

This position is ideal for candidates with a mechanical, engineering or technical background who enjoy hands-on problem solving, understanding how equipment works and applying their skills in a highly technical aerospace environment.

LOCATION: Gul Circle, Singapore

WORK SCHEDULE: Onsite | Rotating Shift

Transport: Company transport across Singapore provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform staging, testing, and destaging of engines/APUs in a test cell environment.
  • Operate and monitor test equipment, machinery, and tools in accordance with approved procedures, technical manuals, and specifications.
  • Perform pre-operational and FOD checks and ensure test equipment, connections, tooling, and instrumentation are properly set up before testing.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during test operations, identify abnormalities, and escalate issues as required.
  • Perform SAP transactions, update work orders, and maintain accurate test and production records.
  • Support supervisors and Cell Leaders in achieving production, quality, and operational targets.
  • Comply with HSE, Quality, ethics, and organizational requirements, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • NTC/NITEC or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Technology, Marine Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or a related technical discipline.
  • 1+ year of hands-on technical experience involving MRO, assembly, troubleshooting, inspection or testing of mechanical or electromechanical equipment; experience may include pumps, valves, pneumatic or hydraulic systems, motors/starters, rotating equipment or similar equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.

WE VALUE

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Ability to interpret blueprint/technical drawings and use engine manuals and/or technical publications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety and compliance.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools and test equipment.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexible to support operational requirements and overtime as needed.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use of engine manuals and/or publications
  • Preferably with analytical knowledge and computer literate.
  • Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications including MS Teams.
