Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Dhana & Neemuch, M.P
- Carrying out the inspection and certification of
work pertaining to the maintenance of airframe, power plant systems and
components within the scope of your license/authorization
- Ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out
in accordance with the requirements/recommendations of manufacturers and DGCA.
- Ensuring
that only approved methods, tooling, procedures and materials are used in
carrying out the said work.
- Making sure that all work orders and inspection
schedules are properly completed & certified before issuing a CRS.
- Ensuring that snags that are observed during inspections and
those reported by the flight crew during the flight are rectified in an
approved method, and especially major defects and rectifications are promptly
reported and dealt with.
- Making sure that all tools and equipment used
during maintenance are calibrated and in serviceable condition, and are not
mishandled
- Seeing to it that only approved materials and parts
are used, and the approved spares have their necessary documentation and
certifications in place prior to installation on the aircraft.
- Ensuring implementation of Safety Policy and safety
management system within CAPL engineering.
- Driving awareness
of safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the Chimes
Aviation Academy - SMS Manual
- Duly
reporting all defects to the Maintenance Manager as and when observed.
- Taking responsible
and ownership for valid Continuation Training and currency of AME
License/Authorization.
- Any Other
duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager from time to time.
- Supervising
the work being done by the supporting staff. Accompanying the aircraft whenever
required to undertake certification work, at out stations.
Requirements
- Excellent
manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Strong
working knowledge of aviation and power tools, computers and diagnostic
equipment
- Flexibility
to work long hours.
- Great
communication and problem-solving skills.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have current
& valid AME Licence in Categories B1.2 and/or B3
- Preferably rated on CAPL's fleet
