AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS REPAIR INSPECTOR

The primary purpose of this position Aircraft Ordnance Systems Repair Inspector, WG-6652-11 is to inspect Aircraft Ordnance Systems, components, and equipment that has been repaired, modified, or overhauled to determine that functional and operational characteristics are within acceptable trade specifications, and that the organization is turning out quality work.
Inspect Aircraft Ordnance Systems, components, and equipment that has been repaired, modified, overhauled, and functionally and operationally checked, such as missile and special weapons launching devices, decoys, egress and jettison systems, and rocket launching equipment. Perform a complete inspection of armament systems, equipment, and related components after work has been completed on the aircraft. Conduct "power on" checks of the aircraft ordnance system by energizing the system with Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) power source. Utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area.
