Key Responsibilities
- Perform repair, inspection and restoration of aircraft engine components according to approved technical procedures and work instructions.
- Carry out component repair processes based on assigned work area and technical specialization.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection using appropriate measuring tools and equipment.
- Perform NDT, chemical cleaning, welding, heat treatment, machining or other specialized repair processes where applicable.
- Identify component defects, damage, wear and non-conformities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, machines and specialized repair equipment safely.
- Read and follow technical drawings, repair manuals, work instructions and process specifications.
- Ensure all repair and inspection activities meet aerospace quality and safety requirements.
- Complete required production and repair documentation accurately.
- Maintain good housekeeping and comply with workplace safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement, productivity and quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Certificate in Mechanical, Aerospace, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or a related technical discipline.
- Candidates with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in aerospace component repair, MRO, precision engineering or a related environment are preferred.
- Experience in NDT, inspection, chemical cleaning, welding, heat treatment, machining, sheet metal or general repair will be highly advantageous.
- Able to read technical drawings and use basic measuring tools.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on technical and production environment.
- Strong awareness of safety, quality and compliance requirements.
- Able to commit to shift work where required.
