AIRCRAFT SURVIVAL AND FLIGHT EQUIPMENT REPAIRER (RIGGER) TRAINING LEADER

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the 68th Rescue Squadron Formal Training Unit (FTU) Premeditated Parachute Programs instructor responsible for planning, designing, instructing, evaluating and maintaining continuity for parachute rigger and aerial delivery training courses and associated instructional materials.

- Instructs, plans, designs, and evaluates AFSPECWAR Premeditated Parachute Systems (PPS) formal training and instructional design to enhance a thorough understanding of the system in its entirety. Assignments entail identifying training requirements and using appropriate training material and technical orders in conjunction with a variety of methods and techniques of instruction. - Develops, reviews, and revises AFSPECWAR PPS and USAF PPP Approved for Use Airborne Equipment training instructional materials in accordance with established learning objectives. Conducts fact-finding and data analysis to assess compliance of instructional material with career field management standards. - Using training experience and operational knowledge, develops the plan and measurement devices for measuring achievement of instructional objectives. Using subject matter knowledge, evaluates, reviews, and validates effectiveness of test/measurement devices during all formal training courses. - Plans, coordinates, and validates Premeditated Parachute Systems training of instructional objectives and design. Plans and coordinates on and off-station training with joint services and commercial vendors to meet specific course requirements.
