Airfreight Manager
Job Descriptions:
- Manage daily airfreight operations for import and export shipments
- Coordinate with airlines, carriers, and warehouse teams
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
- Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, damages, or service issue.
- Track KPIs such as transit time, cost efficiency, and service quality
- Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce transportation costs
- Maintain strong customer relationships and handle escalations
- Ensure compliance with dangerous goods and aviation security regulations
Job requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 5–7+ years of experience in airfreight or logistics operations
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and customs regulations
- Familiarity with cargo management systems and freight software
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
