Airtable Expert at BairesDev
In this role, you'll assess, simplify, and scale enterprise document workflows built on Airtable, bringing structure and clarity to complex operational data. You'll partner directly with stakeholders to turn ambiguous, undocumented processes into clear, scalable systems. This is your opportunity to bring enterprise-scale Airtable expertise to a genuinely complex workflow challenge.
What You'll Do:
- Assess, simplify, and scale Airtable-based workflows at enterprise scale, including workspace and base structure, schema design, permissions, and performance.
- Conduct business process discovery and documentation, including as-is/to-be workflow mapping, gap analysis, RACI, and process maps.
- Lead client-facing consulting activities, including stakeholder interviews, working sessions, and executive-ready written deliverables.
- Define the boundary between Airtable analytics and existing BI dashboards, reasoning about the operational versus reporting layer split.
- Support metadata governance and validation design, including class libraries, conditional routing, automated flagging, and audit trails.
What we are looking for:
- 8+ years of experience working with Airtable at enterprise scale.
- Strong experience with business process discovery and documentation, including as-is/to-be workflow mapping, gap analysis, RACI, and process maps.
- Proven client-facing consulting and facilitation skills, including stakeholder interviews, working sessions, and executive-ready deliverables.
- Experience with BI development and dashboard design using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.
- Experience with API integration, pulling and reconciling data from a system of record.
- Background in metadata governance and validation design.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Specific experience with Power BI.
- Familiarity with Oracle Aconex or comparable engineering document-control platforms such as Procore, Bentley, or OpenText.
- Experience in EPC, capital projects, or oil and gas engineering environments.
- Background in enterprise SaaS governance at scale, including permission models and performance for 7,000-10,000 user populations.
- Advanced Excel and Power Query skills.
- Experience developing training and enablement materials such as guides, metadata dictionaries, and dashboard templates.
