Reports To: Manager, Athletic Operations - Varsity

Mission: To create an environment that inspires a passion for student success.


Desired Results of the Position:

  • Produce quality and engaging video content that could be used for a variety of purposes ranging from but not limited to; social media promotion and Awards night video.


Nature and Scope

Reporting to the Manager, Athletic Operations - Varsity, the varsity Videographer has a keen eye for documenting the team’s highs and lows through their season, game by game. Provide videos for varsity soccer, volleyball and basketball games, capturing the essence of the sport.

Job Duties

  • Owns a camera and has access to the necessary equipment.
  • Captures the many plays of a game from start to finish.
  • Positions themselves accordingly so as not to interfere with game play.
  • Ability to turn over videos within 48 hours.
  • Available to attend all varsity home games.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in sports videography.
  • A portfolio of your work would be considered an asset.
  • Focused and attentive, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Spontaneous and creative, taking pride in their work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently with limited supervision.
  • Responsible, punctual, and mature.
  • Attentive to the diversity of culture and gender sensitivities.

Compensation

$20 per hour plus editing time

September - March
