Algorithm Manager

We focus on developing imaging/video algorithm for LIPS’s standard products. We work together with cross-functional teams to apply our product to our customer filed.

And this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and an innovative individual to provide practical research, development, and programming in intelligent image processing. This requires the development of novel algorithms which will be implemented and integrated into existing image processing tools/ system developed and owned by LIPS.

As a qualify Manager, your responsibilities are listed below

• Learn and investigate any new features as required, ability to hire, coach talented engineers, and excellent communication skills.
• Work with other teams and vendors together on projects.
• Develop and maintain the image quality performance of the product based on the marketing requirements.
• Design and automatize the image testing and validation processes.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of relative experiences.
• Familiar with Python or C or C++.
• Strong self-motivation and interest in the computer vision, machine learning or image processing areas.
• Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS / PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or Physics or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in computer vision or machine learning algorithms.
• Experiences in OpenCV, OpenGL.
• Experience in 3D-relative algorithm is a plus.
• Experience in Stereo vision or TOF is a plus.
• Prior experience of successful independent research is a plus.
