Algorithm Software Developer Student – REM West
Mobileye is looking for an Algorithm Developer Student to join our map creation algorithms Team, part of the REM group within the R&D department.
REM group develops cutting edge big data processing algorithms, to take enormous amounts of compressed anonymous measurements from standard consumer vehicles and collect them into super-accurate high-definition roads map. These maps are then fed back into autonomous vehicles, so they practically "know the way ahead" when they drive around.
Our work combines computational geometry, graph theory, mathematics, physics, software engineering and machine learning to deliver high-performance, cloud-based solutions.
We are using standard open source tools like air-flow, in addition to self-developed scheduling and deployment tools to run our code over 1000s of cores in cloud, or 100s of GPUs in-house.
We are passionate about building clean, reliable, and maintainable software, and we are looking for engineers who share this mindset.
What your job will look like:
- Write algorithms to examine data from various algorithms. Develop your own algorithms to aggregate it, and pin-point quickly on the "goods and the bads" in the data.
- Write infrastructure, testing, visualization tools to run the algorithms and gather the data.
- Develop high-quality code primarily in Python to support automation of processes.
- Write and run your code on K8s, gitlab CI pipelines and other headless servers
- Collaborate effectively with other teams at Mobileye.
All you need is:
- Studies towards a B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, preferably combined with a minor in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or a related scientific discipline.
- Availability for at least a 60% position.
- 2-3 semesters left until graduation.
- Hands-on programming experience in Python.
- JavaScript is an advantage
