THE OPPORTUNITY
ROLE:
We are currently looking for an AMER Alliances Manager who will further expand the partner network. Partners are core to Ivalua’s strategy, a key success factor allowing our business to scale, while we deliver 100% of our projects with a partner. This is the reason why the Alliances team has been developing a strong partner network in the past 5 years. You are responsible for managing our most strategic AMER partners, thus helping scale regional sales and delivery capabilities. You will work under the management of the Senior Alliances Director, working in close collaboration with the AMER Sales & Business Development teams. This role requires approximately 30% travel.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
- Strengthen & enforce partner strategy in the AMER region and facilitate coordination with all necessary internal Ivalua AMER teams
- Support the AMER VP of Sales and his Regional Sales Directors with their respective go-to-market strategies
- Support business development initiatives and facilitate internal coordination with Marketing and Business Development teams
- Manage partners that have a reach throughout the region
- Recruit new partners
- Build long-term relationships with partners in your region
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as an essential function of the role; travel requirements may fluctuate based on business needs
YOUR PROFILE
If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
Skills and Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in an enterprise SaaS company, consulting firm, or system integrator plus sales, project management, or management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- You are committed, work independently, love challenges, and are able to manage complex situations or conflicts; you define yourself as a problem-solver
- Experience in dealing with partners in the C-level area
- Experience in building strategic relationships, increasing sales and aligning goals with partners’ interests in technology
- Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and understanding of complex technical concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- English is required as we serve customers throughout Canada from our Montreal location, and a significant majority of business is conducted in English; however, wherever possible, we will support the employee's right to work in French.
