About the role
Join cohealth as an Allied Health Assistant and help deliver holistic, community-based healthcare as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Working across Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Podiatry services, you will empower clients to achieve better health outcomes through evidence-based support and education.

Your duties will include

Attend to site and home appointments for clients with a wide range of conditions, and provide land and water based exercise programs
Liaise with external organisations for comprehensive follow ups for clients and carers
Contribute to and participate in health education and promotion to maximise good health and prevent illnesses
Maintain clients’ files and records, applying appropriate knowledge of funding requirements and agreements

Our ideal candidate:

Completion of a Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant, or other relevant qualification.
A valid Victorian drivers license
Experience as Allied Health Assistant in a health setting
Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the principles of community health and chronic disease management

Appointments are subject to satisfactory completion of a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, a Working with Children Check and a Pre Employment Declaration Form, together with evidence of the right to work in Australia and any required vaccinations.
Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
