ALM Technical Operations Manager

The Technical Operations Manager - ALM is responsible for governing, optimizing, and supporting the Application Lifecycle Management (IBM ALM) Tool Suite.

This position acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, RUN IT operations, and tool vendors to drive operational excellence, standardization, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives while ensuring ALM services meet organizational objectives, quality standards, and business continuity requirements.

• Functional and Technical Knowledge of ALM ELM tool suite, GitLab and ALM Integration
• 10+ years experience in handling Production Support applications
• ITIL certification required
• Strong knowledge on IT infrastructure systems: server, database, network and storage

Technical requirements: Tools and Technologies:

• ALM ELM (IBM Product)
• Working knowledge on version control and source code Management
• Good hands on Experience on Gitlab and backend-Gitlab
• Strong Knowledge on Gitlab CI/CD and Runners
• Devops knowledge
• DB2 SQL
• IDP - Internal Developer Platform (based on Backstage)

• Coordination skills to lead and deliver run roadmap and improvement projects in parallel
• Monitor, track & Co-ordinate with AMS Partners on performance and availability of the applications. Monitoring SLAs/KPI’s- ensuring they are met by partners.
