Amazon Travel and Events Transactions Analyst, Strategic Programs Management

The Transactions Analyst processes daily travel and events billing, performs reconciliations, and ensures data accuracy within Amazon's travel ecosystem. The role supports billing operations, vendor queries, and GRC compliance controls.
Key job responsibilities
• Process daily billing transactions across travel categories (air, hotel, car, rail, meetings & events) • Perform routine statement reconciliations and flag discrepancies for review • Track refunds, credits, and cancelled ticket processing to completion • Validate data accuracy in TMC feeds and internal billing systems • Support vendor query resolution and respond to standard billing inquiries • Assist with supplier onboarding documentation and entity setup tasks • Maintain transaction logs and ensure timely data entry • Support payment card transaction monitoring and exception flagging • Follow established workflows and escalate non-standard issues to Senior Analyst • Support GRC controls validation including transaction-level compliance testing, exception identification, and documentation of control evidence to ensure payment operations meet internal audit requirements
