Ambulance Nurse

Description

We are looking for a responsible and patient-focused Ambulance Nurse to join our team. You will provide nursing care and assistance during patient transportation, ensuring patients are transported safely and comfortably to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and assistance during patient transportation to and from hospitals, dialysis centres, medical appointments, and other healthcare facilities.
• Attend to both non-emergency and emergency cases according to operational requirements and clinical protocols.
• Assist in the safe handling, transfer, lifting, and positioning of patients, including bariatric patients, using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions during transportation and respond appropriately to changes in their condition.
• Ensure patients' comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the transportation process.
• Work closely with ambulance drivers, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure smooth patient transfers and handovers.
• Comply with established clinical protocols, infection control measures, workplace safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain ambulance equipment, medical supplies, and relevant patient care documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
• Valid ACLS
• Able to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Physically fit and able to assist with patient transfers, including bariatric patients, in accordance with safe handling procedures and equipment requirements.
• Responsible, compassionate, and able to remain calm in different patient care situations.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, if required.

Overtime pay will be tabulated based on MOM requirements of 1.5 x of the Base Salary , and will be made known to the employee during the interview process.
